The role
What you will do
- Plan and deliver 1-to-1 or small-group Biologi lessons aligned to the KPM syllabus for SPM (4551) and the MPM STPM Biology modular framework across Semesters 1-3.
- Diagnose each student's conceptual gaps in cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, plant and animal physiology, ecology and evolution, and build a focused, measurable learning plan.
- Drill answering technique for SPM Paper 2 structured and essay questions, the SPM Paper 3 practical eksperimen, STPM data-based questions, and IB / IGCSE Biology examination styles.
- Set and mark practice papers, model answers and past-year LPM and MPM questions, and give clear written feedback on biological terminology and process descriptions.
- Share regular, honest progress updates with parents after each topic or assessment.
Who we are looking for
- A degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology or a related field.
- IPG-trained tutors and ex-KPM Biology teachers are strongly preferred.
- Strong grasp of the KPM SPM Biologi (4551) syllabus and the MPM STPM Biology modular structure, plus IB Biology SL/HL, IGCSE Biology or Cambridge A-Level Biology where relevant.
- Confident with practical eksperimen, data-based questions, and drawing or interpreting biological diagrams and graphs.
- At least 1 year of tutoring or classroom teaching experience.
- Based in Malaysia and eligible to work here, reliable and genuinely good with students.
